Postprocessing of GPS Logs
Jaška, Roman ; Pavelková, Alena (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis aims to analyse common errors in recorded GPS activities, identify algorithms suitable for correction of these problems and design and subsequently implement an Android application. The first chapter contains an introduction to the problem, demonstration of a few affected examples and explains the motivation behind the choice of this subject for my thesis. Second chapter decomposes the established problem. I specifically elaborate on the source of the errors, the format of input data, existing solutions, mathematical methods suitable for this problem, available APIs and reasons behind the selection of the final platform. Chapter number three describes the actual solution of the problem employed in the final application. The requirements for the final application are laid out as well as the specific details of the functionality, such as the usage of Kalman filter, individual APIs, libraries as well as the design of the user interface. The penultimate chapter reveals selected parts of the implementation, such as the Kalman filtering itself or the problem of manual track correction. This chapter also contains description of design changes executed during the implementation. The final chapter reviews the achieved results of Kalman filtering and snapping of points to roads using Google Maps Roads API. Ultimately, I elaborate on possibilities of continued development of the application.
Entrepreneurial Project

The bachelor thesis deals with the business plan. The aim of this work is to build 3 of the proposals, which could help the Camaieu company to better compete in the market, reduce costs and first of all increase profits. The teoretical part is focused on the business plan on its own, the most common mistakes in business, market subjects and the company targets. In the practical part we will find the concrete suggestions.

Causal analysis of control programs errors
Čapková, Hana ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
This Bachelor`s thesis concerns with the process of fault detection in software programs. It contains hierarchically organized typology of software errors, gained by research of available literature and analysis of events responsible for influencing the software errors evolution gathered into a typology of factors inspired by cognitive psychology. It contains also comparison of software evolution techniques and methodologies from the point of product validation and verification. The Bachelor`s thesis was written with respect to needs and requests of the commissioning company focusing on the Voice over IP (VoIP) software evolution. The thesis aims to suggest modifications of software errors database and error causes database.
Impact of Faults and Errors in Context of Embedded Operating Systems
How secondary school pupils solve metric problems in 3D geometry
Jankovcová, Anna ; Vondrová, Naďa (advisor) ; Janda, David (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of how high school students solve tasks in three-dimensional metric space. All of the selected tasks are solvable using similarity. Since this is not the only way to solve these problems, I also observe the procedures and strategies that students employ whilst solving them. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part I define the basic terms and deal with difficulties which might occur while solving the selected problems. I also describe the expected outcomes of stereometry teaching in curricular documents. In the practical part, I firstly analyse the way certain metric problems are solved in high school textbooks. Then I describe how I did my research, in which 12 students participated. As my method for conducting the research I chose to interview the students about their solutions to the selected tasks in order to obtain enough information about the challenges that the students have in solving these problems and to observe the strategies they use. In the closing section of this thesis, I summarize the procedures which high school students use to solve metric problems, as well as the difficulties that some students had. My research has shown that students use various techniques to solve metric...

Conceptions of area and volume of pupils at the elementary school

Conceptions of area and volume of pupils at the elementary school Veronika Tůmová ABSTRACT: The aim of my thesis is to investigate how the conceptions of area and volume are built, what the major pitfalls and problems are, what skills and strategies are helpful for solving problems and what are the frequent unsuccessful strategies and pupils' misconceptions. I used the concept of the hypothetical learning trajectory as a tool to describe this process. Based on existing research review, I compiled two hypothetical learning trajectories - one for area and one for volume. The crucial building blocks that were identified based on these trajectories are: space abilities, structuration of space into arrays of units and multiplicative thinking. A test was designed to measure these factors and the correlation of these factors with success in volume and area problems ranged from week (multiplicative thinking) to very strong (spatial abilities). These findings confirm that these factors constitute an important part of the hypothetical learning trajectory for both concepts. Several structuration tasks were selected to investigate pupils' structuration skills and mistakes in more detail. Three main categories of problems were identified in the pupils' solutions: incorrect space structuration, disconnection between...
